The BMW X6 received a very mixed reception from the common BMW enthusiast when it was unveiled. Some said its a unpractical cross (hybrid) between an SUV and a sports car while others expressed it's like a match made in heaven. Bottom line is that the designers and engineers did get it right since the model has been a success.
